When going down to dig for gems in the mine, the clothes will be soiled (reddish brown) and can't be washed. Therefore, this concept has been used as the identity of Chanthaburi's fabric color, which is "dyed fabric in gemstone mine soil". Chanthaboon's yellow orchid is the provincial flower. Therefore, Chanthaboon yellow orchids were used as patterns on the fabric.
