Suphannika flower pattern fabric
Thai Puan hand-woven cloth “Supannika flower pattern” is a hand-woven fabric product that brings innovative ideas and experience in weaving traditional fabrics to apply to create inventions. It is a new hand-woven fabric that reflects the symbol of the province "Suphannika flower", the national flower of Nakhon Nayok Province. It begins with writing and engraving in draft paper to make an applied Suphannika flower pattern with inflorescences and leaves in the form of art. I doesn’t have to look clear like a painting to be unique in pattern. The flower patterns applied symbolic art makes it difficult in the perspective of the weaver, including the tie.The leaves are more difficult than the flowers. They requires patience and expertise of the weaver and the comprehension of pattern. The process before weaving is as follows:
- Tying the pattern must be align.
- Spinning, the yarn to be spun must be completely dry to be of good quality, not stretched.
- Delving the thread requires constant force of searching, so that the thread will hold itself evenly.
- Bringing the thread up must be tied up so that all the threads have the same tension and the size of the weft thread specified for each pattern must be the same length as the fabric
- Weaving, must have a consistent weight of the hand , especially when weaving can be a certain length, it must roll the fabric to the spool. (Depending on the skill of the weaver)"

Thai Phuan hand-woven cloth is considered a cultural heritage of Thai Phuan people in Nakhon Nayok province, inherited from ancestors from generation to generation. There is a production process that is delicate and beautiful in terms of designing patterns, Mudmee methods, line merging, khit, squinting, and coloring are distinctively colorful, eye-catching, with patterns that express the identity of the Thai Phuan people. In addition, ancient patterns hidden with beliefs.
