Bunnak flower pattern

The Bunnak flower pattern has a source from the Bunnak tree, the provincial tree of Phichit. Bunnak is a perennial tree, hard, fragrant, with unique flowers, white flowers with 4 petals, inside with circular stamens. Yellow-orange woven fabric with “Bunnak” pattern can be woven with cotton, silk or artificial yarn, use a loom weaving. It is woven into exquisite patterns that are beautiful by using the “Bunnak flower” pattern to weave together with signature of each group textile dyeing. There are both chemical dyes and natural dyes extracted from local flowers or plants, such as the color of mango leaves, turmeric, etc

Characteristic

In 2017, by the resolution of the meeting of the heads of provincial government agencies and representatives of the weaving group in Phichit Province as resolved to approve the "Bunnak" pattern woven fabric as the identity of Phichit province and set to be worn together for the whole province every Wednesday of the week.
