Chok weaving in Thailand
In Thailand, Pha Chok is woven in the northern and central regions. The styles, patterns, and colors of Pha Chok vary depending on the locality or the identity of each race that is descended from the Thai Pha Chok ancestors. If divided by tribe It will be found that weaving cloth in the following major tribes:
1) Thai-Yuan cloth
2) Pha Chok Tai-Phuan (Lao Phuan)
3) Pha Chok Thai-Lue
4) Lao lac cloth
